Students who already applied for admission and would now like to track the status of your application can do it by following the steps below.
UNISA APPLICATION STATUS CHECK
- Visit UNISA Application Status portal https://myadmin.unisa.ac.za/unisa-studentstatus/default.do
- Fill in your personal details for verification.
- Enter your student number.
- Type in your Surname/Last name in the space provided.
What to do if you forgot your Unisa student number?
Unisa will assess your application according to the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice and your final mark received at undergraduate level. Applications follow a formal selection and approval process, which may take up to three months to be finalised.
Application outcomes
Unisa will assess your application, which includes the points score system. You may be offered a space for the 2024 semester 2, academic year based on the following: whether you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum academic points score (APS) and the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.

- Applicants who do not qualify for admission will get feedback as soon as their applications are processed.
