The Gauteng Department of Education Grade 1 and 8 admission
The placement period for online school admissions for Grade 1 and 8 officially began on Monday earlier this week. The provincial education department has stated that placement offers will be released to parents via SMS or on their website from 3 October 2022 to 30 November 2022.
During this time, placement offers will be issued to parents who applied online for Grade 1 and 8.
Upon receiving a placement offer, the department has advised parents and guardians to log in to their profile on the website to accept the offer, whether on a final or temporary basis. They will then have seven days to accept the placement offer, according to Gauteng Education MEC, Panyaza Lesufi.
