The KZN Department of health district hospital offers a 24 Months internship program for unemployed graduates. Check below the application procedure and apply before the closing date.
The representativity in all levels of occupational categories of employees in the Department include People with
Disability (PWD) must feel free to apply.
The Requirements
- Applicants must come from the KwaZulu-Natal province.
- Candidates must demonstrate willingness to work in specialized field.
- Qualifications in the related fields.
- Registration with professional bodies where applicable
How to apply
1. Z83 forms can be collected from Human Resources Office of all the Health District Offices, Hospitals and
Institutions as well as Head Office.
2. One application must be submitted to the District Office of your residential area,
No application from outside ones’ district will be considered. The address for the relevant District Office in
which you reside is depicted on the table below.
3. Attach originally certified copies of educational qualifications, Identity Document, and updated curriculum
vitae.
4. A signed affidavit from the Commissioner of Oath as proof of unemployment, clearly indicating that you
have not benefited from the internship programme before.
5. If you do not hear form the Department within 4 weeks after the closing date, kindly regard your application
as unsuccessful.
6. Applicants must submit copies of their tertiary certificates as no study records or letters from tertiary
Institutions will be accepted
NB: – Failure to comply with the above directives will disqualify the candidate. Contracted candidates will be
allocated to institutions that fall within a specific district/ Head Office.
