REQUIREMENTS
Please attach original certified copies of the following:
The application must be fully completed.
Certified Copy of valid South African Identity Document.
Attachment of certified Grade 12 Certificate and Higher Tertiary Qualification (if progressing student).
Attach proof of physical address (home) document: A letter from the Traditional Authority Offices for those residing in the villages and the letter from the Municipality Offices for residing in Town/ Townships/
Farms (not statement of account e.g. water bill etc).
Attach proof of income for both parents (If there is one parent or none, provide proof with affidavit signed by commissioner and proof of income for the guardian). NB: In case of deceased parents also attachcopy of death certificates.
Proof of enrolment or provisional acceptance letter from the Higher Education Institutions. It iscompulsory to submit the University acceptance/ Admission letter and the end year results (Matric and
Tertiary).
NB: DPWI may conduct further verification prior awarding the bursary
